Fogo de Chao has 35 locations! This being the 35th, second in LA! Love the new downtown location! Its in heart of downtown. Kind of feels like your in NY. Definitely a hot spot. Perfect place for lunch, dinner or happy hour! Happy Hour is from 4:30 – 6:30 Mon. thru Fri.
Lunch at IPic Theater Pasadena with my fellow Tastemade friends! Great for date night or events. Lunch, dinner, happy hour, movie….take your pick! You can dine in, take it to go or even call ahead to place your order! My preference is to dine while I watch a movie and yes the seats do recline. That’s why they call it The Ultimate Movie Experience!!! Oh and i almost forgot to mention the flat screen TV’s in the main dining room!
Our menu included:
Tater Tots, fries, spring rolls, spinach salad with strawberries,
Caesar Romaine Spears -Romaine lettuce hearts, parmesan cheese, caesar dressing
Turkey Burger Trio – Balsamic onions, sun-dried tomato aioli, romaine lettuce on a garlic-toasted brioche roll
Angus Burger Trio – Applewood smoked bacon, crisp shredded romaine lettuce, sliced tomato, sharp cheddar cheese on a garlic-buttered & lightly toasted brioche bun
Fajita Quesadilla – Choice of chicken or steak, caramelized onions, sliced bell peppers, jack cheese, sour cream, pico de gallo, & guacamole
This is our special place! Its great for date night, great for friends and family visiting, especially the Santa Monica location! The one thing this Boa has that the other ones don’t have is cotton candy! (Yes you read it right….COTTON CANDY!!!!) No matter what you order you will never be disappointed, from the regular menu to the specials!!! Something you must try while at BOA is Goat Cheese Baklava. Just imagine that combo and then when you try it, it will blow your mind! I have never had anything like it before. Sunday half off bottles of wine. BONUS! Oh don’t forget to try the Truffle Parmesan Cauliflower and when in season another must have are the brussel sprouts. I could give more, but lets just start there for now!
Our meal for the evening: Colossal Blue Crab Cocktail Chipotle Lime Corn Heirloom Tomato with Feta mousse Mixed Squash & veggies Ahi Tuna Petite Filet with horseradish & peppercorn sauce
It’s dinner and a movie kind of night with friends. Dinner at Westside Tavern connected to the Westside Pavillion where the Landmark Theater is also located. If you have some extra time you can also get some shopping done in the mall! There is something for everyone!
Monday nights at Cecconi’s are always a fun night! The food is always so good! Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. As of recently Tues. through Saturday from 4-7 they have a Happy Hour menu. Enjoy! I know i do!!!
